THQ has today announced Band Mashups, the game which will bring the ultimate band battle to the Wii. The game is a rhythm music game with a twist. “”Band Mashups takes an innovative approach to the rhythm/action genre by blending music and combat in the ultimate battle of the bands said THQ. Band Mashups has 30 classic and modern chart-topping hits from the last four decades, all of which have been recorded in five different styles for the game. The end result is about 150 different styles of tracks. The game is due for April and will have multiplayer modes for up to two players. Screenshots inside.
