Atari has announced that it is leaving the game production business to concentrate its on publishing and distribution in an effort to save itself. But now the company has had another setback with CEO David Pierce resigning after only being in the job for just over a year. In a move to make back some money, Atari has sold the Test Drive franchise to Infogrames. Previously, Atari sold off its Driver and Stuntman franchises to Ubisoft and THQ but it seems this hasnt helped. Can this manoeuvre help the company as we know it to survive? Source: CVG
