Animal Crossing sells out and DS sales explode!

While we will bring you the full charts tomorrow for Japanese sales we thought it would be nice to tell you how well Animal Crossing Wild World is going as we already have the Software Figures.

According to Enterbrain, Nintendo has sold 350,000 copies of Doubutsu no Mori DS [Animal Crossing: Wild World] during it first week. It has also been reported that DS sales have rocketed to 160,000 units in the same week, although these have not confirmed. Also Nintendo Japan is currently having problems supplying enough copies of the game with a severe shortages being reported. If you have’nt guess Animal Crossing is very popular over there.
