Vicarious Visions and Activision may be looking to create more band-exclusive Guitar Hero games. Old news, right? However, these are for the DS! “In future versions well look at content that excites us and people who are playing the game. We havent locked anything down at this point.” Says producer David Nathanielsz. “For decades, weve taken the route of finding the best music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. But, if we hear people say man, we really want Metallica on DS wed look at doing that.”
But what about the DSi? One of the problems pointed out about the lack of a GBA slot is Guitar Hero: On Tours fret add-on. Are they going to let that stand in the way of milking a franchise for all its worth? Signs point to probably not.
"Ill tell you we’re very excited about the DSi. We’ve seen the news and are excited about the capabilities of that system and really excited to hunker down here and look at ways we can support it." Claims Nathanielsz. We know how much they like big sacks of money, so its likely theyll find a workaround. Source: GoNintendo
