’90s Arcade Racer drifts onto the Switch as ‘90s Super GP

It has been a couple of years since we heard anything about ’90s Arcade Racer, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was dead and buried.

Fortunately, this is not the case as Nicalis has updated the game’s listing on its site with the game now due on the Nintendo Switch. The Wii U version and even the Xbox One version has seemingly been dropped. The game is still headed toward the PC and the PS4.

So the saga that is ‘90s Super GP continues on, hopefully, we’ll hear something official about it shortly.

as someone who backed the game on kickstarter, this project proves why that entire process is flawed. Once someone has the money, they don’t need to do anything, they can claim development stalled, platforms died or in this case, go completely radio silent for years.

The last update I heard on this was that the game was almost done, that was like November 2015… and while its nice that Nicalis were helping them out 3 years ago, 12 months of their support and radio silence from both groups is pretty shoddy..
