A recent +D Games survey has shown that 63% of Japanese gamers overall spoke of their intentions to purchase the new hardware revision. 27% of Japanese games already own a DS but will purchase an DS lite when it is release, Only 35% of those polled did not own a DS and had no plans to buy the system, whether it be a DS lite or the DS original.
As you know the DS lite launches March 2nd in 3 colours, dubbed Crystal White, Ice Blue, and Enamel Navy. There is plans to bring it to the west however we dont expect any sort of annoucement until a later date. Nintendo Australia declined to comment on there plans regarding the DS lite, however it is expect that it will make it here at some point.
