360 DS connectivity was on the Cards with Viva Piata Sequel

Connectivity a sore point in Nintendos past but still not fully explored. But what if Rare had the crazy idea to link up the Nintendo DS and the Xbox 360 with the new Viva Piata game? Well at one point the game did have it but the Nintendo DS version was too close to completion before it could be implemented. The connectivity was not what you think; it is with the DS showing a barcode from the game which would have been scanned by the Xbox Live Vision Camera. More inside The feature remains in the game and allows players to scan in Viva Piata gaming cards but was scrapped on the DS. “”We got it to work, but it was too late in the development cycle, Cook said, presumably talking about the cycle of the DS game. If only theyd thought of it sooner, he laughed. Its one of those things where you just kick yourself.”"
