As if there was any doubt after the success of the last
We hadnt heard anything about a release of Professor Layton and the Lost Future in Australia since its announcement at E3 2010. We assumed it was coming our way after the success the last game had here (seriously did you see all those ads?). But thanks to a Classification update this morning, we now can lock another one in for later this year.
The storyline will see Professor Layton receiving a letter from his sidekick, Luke, but from ten years in the future. This comes after the British Prime Minister disappears in a freak time machine accident. The game will also delve deeper into Professor Layton’s shady past, explaining via flashback, the story of his lost lover and exactly how he obtained his hat. More cutscenes than the previous two Layton games are also promised.
Theres no release date set as of yet but its out in Europe on October 22nd, 2010. Hopefully we wont be waiting too long for it.
