LEGOs world domination continues to plan

LEGO returns to the Nintendo DS and this time its a battle

TT Games continues to build its LEGO throne with ‘LEGO Battles’, a new concept from the team which usually absorbs existing franchises into its ever expanding mass. This time they’re combining the little guys and girls from LEGO Space, Castle and Pirates into what seems to be a simple Real Time Strategy game. You can customise your own squad and base from a big pool of characters and vehicles, play across 90 missions from six campaigns and generally embark on lots of LEGO destruction. You’ll be able build your own LEGO bases and teams, mixing and matching units to create their own customised squad. Choosing from 55 playable characters, face off on land, sea or in the air, using 30 different vehicles. Wireless multiplayer is included. LEGO Battles is coming to Australia and New Zealand in the Winter of 2009.
