Activision score rights to Bakugan licence

Activision has announced that it has teamed up with Nelvana Enterprises to create and distribute games based on the new animated TV show Bakugan. According to this press release here Bakuan is break out hit toy and wildly popular action TV series. The game will be heading to the Wii, Nintendo DS, PS3 and PS2. “”Ever since Bakugan exploded in popularity, players have been clamoring for a video game version,”" said Doug Murphy, President, Nelvana and GM, Corus Kids. Bakugan tells the story of Dan and his friends as they battle their Bakugan Brawlers to save the planet of Vestroia and, ultimately, Earth from destruction.
